  |   Uncategorized

Sam Lavelle, (23) has followed in his Father’s footsteps by achieving his category C driving licence, allowing him to drive all of the vehicles in our fleet up to 32 tonnes!!

Sam’s Dad Craig Lavelle, founder and Managing Director of Lavelle Waste Services, started in the waste industry as a skip driver for Sam’s Grandad. Now, its Sam’s turn to expand his knowledge throughout the waste industry.

“Since leaving University and joining the family business, achieving my HGV licence was a big goal of mine so that I could gain a greater understanding of the waste and recycling industry. Having the qualification behind me not only strengthens our team, it allows for more flexibility within our business. Im eager to get behind the wheel and learn all aspects of our unique recycling vehicles” Sam Lavelle.

As you can see from the  photo, it’s no surprise Sam has achieved his driving qualification 21 years later in a new family business.

Lavelle’s boast the most modern, efficient fleet of waste vehicles in the North West. With plenty of trucks for Sam to choose from, he’s certainly in safe hands, with 360 degree cameras, side scan, euro 6 engines and audible warning, the trucks are made with the driver and environment in mind to make it easier to navigate around the busy city centre roads.
