Our new FEL Truck hits the road!
Manchester based Lavelle waste services has become the owner of a brand new Scania P410 FEL vehicle, fitted with Farid Hillend lifting equipment and moba underbody weighing. This new euro-6 hi tech truck hits the road due to strong growth in Lavelles FEL services.
The family run business now boasts a fleet of 15 vehicles with more vehicles on order to facilitate steady projected growth over the next 12-18 months.
Cleaner vehicles…
The new euro 6 vehicle comes into the fleet at a vital time, with a looming clean air zone being debated for Greater Manchester, Lavelle’s are safe in the knowledge the new truck is not only compliant to new regulations but its impact on the environment is dramatically reduced when compared to previous euro 5 engines.
Expansion of services…
The new Front end loader vehicle arrives at the same time we have expanded our FEL coverage to Preston and east Lancashire.
Weighing…
A key feature of the new vehicle is on board weighing, specifically under body weighing fitted and supplied by Moba weighing solutions. The weighing equipment allows us to produce accurate weight and recycling reports to our customers.
Operations Manager Sam Lavelle believes the new vehicle will better position the company for future expansion. With our FEL coverage now extending to parts of Warrington and into some Preston postcodes. The Scania brand gives Lavelle’s and our customers reliability, which better aids our position to service our customers’ requirements.”

Transport Manager Emma Lavelle says “the fundamental reason behind our rapid growth is our service. We put a huge emphasis on our deliverability with the service we provide on our customers sites but also behind the scenes with our reporting and admin.”
